Monica Aspeling

Registered Counsellor

My Approach

I believe that meaningful counselling begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, challenges, and strengths. My approach is grounded in psychological theory and evidence-based practices, while always remaining compassionate, practical, and person-centred.

I draw from various counselling approaches and techniques to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, resilience, and healthy coping strategies. Rather than applying a "one-size-fits-all" approach, I aim to work collaboratively with each individual in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and suited to their specific needs.

As a Registered Counsellor, I also recognise the importance of ethical practice, ongoing learning, and creating a space where people feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences openly.
